Buying guide
A filigree solitaire ring keeps the focus on a single center stone and lets the metalwork carry the detail. Filigree is a pattern of fine, lacy openings and curls in the metal, often seen on the side of the head or along the shoulders. Every setting here has a vintage feel, and most add milgrain, a row of tiny metal beads along the edges. Some carry lab-grown diamond accents in a pave band or a channel along the shank, and a few show engraved scrollwork or floral detail.
Each filigree solitaire ring setting is offered for round, oval, cushion, princess, emerald, radiant, Asscher, pear, marquise and heart centers. Round and cushion centers suit the soft curves of filigree; emerald and Asscher cuts give the ring a more Art Deco look. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K. Platinum is dense and naturally white, and silver is the lightest-priced option. Yellow and rose gold show the openwork pattern with warmer contrast.
Settings start under $250, and most are between about $750 and $1,150. That price is for the setting only; the center stone is chosen and priced in the next step. Filigree has small openings that can collect lotion and dust, so a soft brush and warm, soapy water now and then keep the detail crisp.
Each ring is made for you in 10–15 days. Shipping is free on orders over $500, returns are accepted within 30 days, and one resize is free within 60 days of delivery.
