Buying guide
A floral ring uses metal and small stones to suggest a flower. Some designs ring the center with petals, like a halo shaped as a bloom. Others add petal accents or a cluster beside the center, set lab-grown diamond accents in a vine along the band, or use marquise side stones that read as leaves. A platinum leaf ring with leaf-shaped shoulders is part of the range too.
Platinum is a dense, naturally white metal, so it doesn't need plating to stay white and it holds prongs securely. Over time it develops a soft satin look, which can be polished back to a shine.
Petal and leaf details rely on fine prongs and thin edges, and platinum's strength helps them hold their shape.
Nearly every design takes a round, oval, cushion, princess, emerald, radiant, asscher, pear, marquise and heart center. Round and cushion centers sit naturally in a petal halo, while pear and marquise shapes echo the leaf motif. Most designs can be ordered for a white, fancy blue, pink, yellow or green center, and some for a black center.
Settings start under $1,200, and most are between about $1,500 and $2,050. That is for the setting; the center is priced when you choose it.
