Buying guide
What makes a ring read as vintage is mostly the metalwork:
Some rings are quiet milgrain or engraved solitaires; others are halo or split shank designs with pavé lab-grown diamonds for more sparkle.
A lab-grown pink sapphire is the same corundum crystal as a natural pink sapphire, grown under controlled conditions. It rates 9 on the Mohs scale, just below diamond, so it stands up well to daily wear in a ring. Its color is even and the stone is usually very clean, at a far lower cost than a natural pink sapphire of similar size and color.
Each design offers 1 to 9 carats total weight. Rose and yellow gold give a warm heirloom look; platinum, white gold and silver suit the cooler art deco style and make the pink look brighter. Prices start under $350, and most rings sit between about $840 and $1,090 at their smallest size.
Each ring is made for you in 10–15 days. Shipping is free on orders over $500, returns are accepted within 30 days, and one resize is free within 60 days of delivery.
