An infinity band crosses over itself, so the two strands form a figure-eight curve before they reach the center. In these settings, the curves meet at a heart-shaped center, chosen in the next step. Some designs use a crossover twist, some interwoven strands, and others ribbons of pave that wrap on each side. The look is softer and more flowing than a straight band, and the twist catches light from many angles.
A heart and infinity ring works as an engagement ring or as a promise ring, and a twisted band also pairs well with a plain wedding band.
Every setting also comes in versions made for a fancy blue, pink, yellow or green heart, and some for black. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K. Prices start under $400, and most settings are between about $1,150 and $1,500, for the setting only. The center is priced when you choose it.
