A single halo is one ring of small diamonds around the center. A double halo adds a second ring outside the first, so the face of the ring looks wider and the outline of the heart is traced twice. With a heart center, the two rows follow the lobes and the point, which keeps the heart shape clear from across a room. Some designs here use graduated, scalloped, stacked or floral halos for a softer outline.
Gold designs come in 10K, 14K or 18K. White gold and platinum suit a colorless center and make the halos look bright and even. Yellow and rose gold add warmth, and silver keeps the price lower. Every design can take a fancy pink, blue, yellow or green heart, and some take a black center. Settings start under $400, and most are between about $850 and $1,000. That price is for the setting; the center is priced when you choose it.
