Buying guide
An infinity ring uses a band that crosses over itself, often in a figure-eight curve near the center. Here that idea shows up as crossover twists, interwoven shanks and pavé ribbons that wrap toward the stone. Most designs set lab-grown diamond accents along the twisting strands, and some keep one strand plain so the shape of the twist reads clearly.
A solitaire infinity ring lets the band do the work: the center sits alone on prongs and the twist draws the eye up to it. A halo version surrounds the pink center with small lab-grown diamond accents, which makes the center look larger and adds sparkle around the color. A split-shank twist is also part of the range for a wider look at the top.
Every design takes a round, oval, cushion, princess, emerald, radiant, asscher, pear, marquise and heart center. Gold comes in white, yellow or rose, in 10K, 14K or 18K. Platinum is also offered, as is Silvadium, a tarnish-resistant sterling silver. Rose gold deepens the look of a pink center, while white metals give it more contrast.
Settings start under $400, and most are between about $1,150 and $1,500. That covers the setting only; the center is priced when you choose it.
