Buying guide
A bezel is a thin metal rim that wraps a stone instead of holding it with prongs. A full bezel circles the whole stone and gives the most protection. A half bezel covers two sides and leaves the others open, so more light reaches the center. Some designs use bezels on the accents instead, with bezel-set shoulder clusters, stations along the band or a bezel halo. Read each title to see where the rim sits.
About half the designs are vintage, often with milgrain edges. Others are clean solitaires, halos of small lab-grown diamonds, three stone rings, channel set bands or a bypass style. A bezel suits a pink center well: the metal rim frames the color and keeps a low profile, which is practical for daily wear.
Rose gold deepens a pink stone, yellow gold warms it, and white gold or platinum makes the pink look cleaner and cooler. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K. Prices are for the setting alone and start under $200; most are between about $750 and $1,600. The pink center is priced when you choose it.
