Pave sets rows of small stones close together, held by tiny beads of metal, so the band shows an almost continuous line of sparkle. On a pear shaped pave ring those accents lead the eye to the center, whose rounded end and point give the ring a long, slim look. Micro pave uses even smaller stones for a finer line. Some designs set pave on the halo, the shoulders or the gallery as well as the band.
Most designs take a colorless, fancy blue, pink, yellow or green center, and some take black. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K. Prices shown are for the setting: they start under $200, and most are between about $750 and $1,200. The center is priced when you choose it.
Each ring is made for you in 10–15 days. Shipping is free on orders over $500, returns are accepted within 30 days, and one resize is free within 60 days of delivery.
