Buying guide
An oval and a pear share the same rounded outline, so an oval ring with pear side stones looks unified. The narrow points of the pears lead toward the center, and the side stones make the head look wider across the finger. On some three stone designs the pears are larger, which gives the ring a fuller, bolder face. Smaller pears keep the attention on the oval.
