Buying guide
Milgrain is a row of tiny raised beads worked into the metal, usually along the edges of a band or around each stone. It softens the outline, catches light in small points and gives a milgrain eternity ring an antique look. Over many years of wear the beads can soften, and a jeweler can refresh them.
A half eternity band sets stones across the top of the ring and leaves the lower part plain metal. It is comfortable next to an engagement ring and easier to resize than a full eternity band. These designs work well as a milgrain eternity wedding band or as an anniversary band.
Most designs offer from about 0.25 to 0.5 carats total weight, and some go to 0.75 or 1 carat. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K on most designs. Prices start under $250, and most bands are between about $700 and $850.
Each band is made for you in 10–15 days. Shipping is free on orders over $500, returns are accepted within 30 days, and one resize is free within 60 days of delivery.
