A Promise, Perfected

Heart Pave Rings

Heart pave rings set a heart-shaped center on a band lined with small lab-grown diamond accents. This is a wide collection: pave solitaires, halos and hidden halos, vintage and floral designs, split shanks, twists and three stone rings. Every setting comes in white, yellow or rose gold and Silvadium, a tarnish-resistant sterling silver, and nearly all in platinum.

What pave adds to a heart ring

Pave sets many small stones close together, held by tiny beads of metal, so the band looks covered in sparkle. On a heart ring the pave can run part way down the band, all along it, on the shoulders, or around the center as a halo. A pave band draws the eye toward the heart and makes a diamond heart pave ring look brighter than a plain metal band. The accents in these settings are lab-grown diamonds.

Styles to choose from

  • Halo and double halo: a frame of accents around the heart, the most common style here.
  • Pave solitaire: a single heart center with accents on the band only.
  • Hidden halo: a row of accents under the center, seen from the side.
  • Vintage and floral: milgrain, filigree, engraving, leaves and petals.
  • Split shank, twisted and bypass: bands that divide, twist or wrap toward the heart.
  • Side stones and three stone: marquise, pear or baguette accents beside the center.

Band widths, centers and price

Some designs let you pick a band width, from about 1.8 to 3 mm. The heart-shaped center is chosen in the next step, and nearly every setting also comes in versions made for a fancy blue, pink, yellow or green heart; some take black. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K. Prices start under $200, and most settings are between about $750 and $1,200, for the setting only. The center is priced when you choose it.
