A 3 stone halo engagement ring sets a center you choose between two side stones, with a halo of lab-grown diamond accents adding sparkle. Some designs use pear side stones or bezel-set accents; others add vintage milgrain, filigree or a split shank. Every setting takes ten center shapes and comes in white, yellow or rose gold, platinum or Silvadium, a tarnish-resistant sterling silver.

Buying guide
A three stone ring, also called a trilogy ring, places a larger center between two smaller stones. Adding a halo puts a frame of small accents around the center, and on some rings around the side stones too. The result is wider across the finger than a single halo ring and shows more sparkle from every angle. In these settings, the side stones and accents are lab-grown diamonds. The center is chosen in the next step.
Most designs also have pave accents along the band.
Every setting takes a round, oval, cushion, pear, marquise, heart, emerald, princess, radiant or Asscher center, and each also comes in versions made for a fancy blue, pink, yellow or green center, some for black. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K. Prices start under $350, and most settings are between about $750 and $1,250. These are prices for the setting only; the center is priced when you choose it.
