Buying guide
A full bezel wraps the whole edge of the stone in metal. It is the most secure way to hold an emerald cut, protects the clipped corners and sits smooth against clothing. A half bezel covers only two sides and leaves the others open, so more light reaches the stone and the look is lighter. Some settings here use bezels for the accents instead, such as bezel stations along the band or bezel-set shoulder clusters.
Most settings can also hold a fancy color center in blue, pink, yellow or green, and some are made for a black center.
Every setting comes in 10K, 14K or 18K gold. Yellow gold makes the bezel rim a visible gold frame around the stone; white gold blends it in. Settings start from about $500, and most are between about $1,100 and $1,600. The price is for the setting only; the center is priced when you choose it.
Each ring is made for you in 10–15 days. Shipping is free on orders over $500, returns are accepted within 30 days, and one resize is free within 60 days of delivery.
