White gold bypass rings have a band that splits and passes the center from opposite sides, so the two ends overlap instead of meeting. Every design takes a round center, and nearly all also take oval, pear, cushion, emerald, radiant, princess, marquise, heart and Asscher shapes. You choose the center stone in the next step.

On a bypass ring, each side of the band curves toward the center and slides past it, one above and one below. The center sits in the gap, which gives the ring a sense of movement and a slightly off-center line. It suits rounder shapes and elongated ones alike, since the curve of the band follows the stone.
Every design comes in 10K, 14K or 18K white gold, and some bands are offered in widths from about 1.8 to 2.5 mm. Most designs are also set up for a fancy yellow, pink, blue or green center, and some for a black center. Prices start from about $600 for the setting, and most settings are between about $850 and $1,150; the center is priced when you choose it.
Each ring is made for you in 10–15 days. Shipping is free on orders over $500, returns are accepted within 30 days, and one resize is free within 60 days of delivery.
