Light That Catches the Eye

Lab-Grown Diamond Three Stone Earrings

Three stone earrings set three lab-grown diamonds in each earring, arranged as a short drop, a curved line or a staggered stud. Several designs mix shapes, pairing pear, marquise, cushion, baguette and emerald cut lab-grown diamonds in one piece. Every design comes in white, yellow or rose gold, platinum, or Silvadium, and each pair is made to order.

Buying guide

Studs or drops

Three stone stud earrings keep all three lab-grown diamonds close to the ear, in a curved row or a staggered cluster. They sit flat and suit everyday wear. Three stone drop earrings hang the stones one below another, so the earring moves and catches light as you turn your head. Drops read dressier and show more length along the jaw. If you want earrings you can forget you are wearing, start with studs; for evenings and events, drops make more of a statement.

Mixing shapes in one earring

Many 3 stone earrings here combine shapes. A pear at the bottom gives a drop a tapered finish, a marquise or baguette adds a long line, and a round or cushion at the top sits neatly at the lobe. Some arrange emerald cut, marquise and pear lab-grown diamonds into a small fan. Others keep to one shape, such as round stones in a curved stud. Mixed shapes look more sculptural; matching shapes look cleaner.

Carat weight, metal and price

Carat options depend on the design and run from about 0.3 to 4 carats total weight for the pair. Gold designs come in 10K, 14K or 18K white, yellow or rose gold, and every design is also offered in platinum and in Silvadium, a tarnish-resistant sterling silver. Prices start under $200, and most pairs are between about $400 and $800 at their smallest option.
