Most carry milgrain edges, and many add filigree, engraving, floral details or a halo of lab-grown diamond accents. Every design comes in round, oval, cushion, pear, emerald, radiant, heart, marquise and princess, and most in Asscher. You choose the center stone in the next step.

Antique silver rings borrow details from older jewelry. Milgrain is a row of tiny metal beads along an edge, and it appears on most of these rings. Filigree is open, lacy metalwork, often under the center or along the sides. Hand-style engraving adds scrolls or leaves to the band. Many designs also set lab-grown diamond accents in pave rows, a halo or small clusters, the way older rings framed a center with smaller stones.
Many designs are also drawn for a fancy blue, pink, yellow or green center, and some for black.
Settings start under $200, and most cost between about $300 and $420. The price is for the setting; the center is priced when you choose it. Milgrain and engraving collect dirt in their grooves, so clean the ring now and then with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush.
