A halo is a ring of small stones set around the center. It makes the center look larger and adds sparkle at every angle. In these halo silver rings, the halo stones are lab-grown diamond accents. A double halo adds a second row for more size, and a hidden halo sits under the center, where it shows mostly from the side.
Most designs pair the halo with a pave band for sparkle all around. Vintage, milgrain and filigree designs give a detailed, older look, and split shank bands open into two strands near the center. Floral, twisted, cluster and three stone halo designs offer more choices. Many designs can be made for a fancy yellow, blue, pink or green center, and some for a black center.
Prices are for the setting only; the center is chosen and priced in the next step. Settings start under $200, and most are between about $300 and $400. Some designs come with a band width from 1.8 to 2.5 mm. Silver is softer than gold or platinum, so take the ring off for heavy work and wipe it with a soft cloth.
