Light That Catches the Eye

Round Lab-Grown Diamond Drop Earrings

These round lab-grown diamond drop earrings hang below the lobe, from single bezel drops to graduated lines of stones. Choose white, yellow or rose gold or Silvadium, a tarnish-resistant sterling silver, with platinum on many styles. Round lab-grown diamond dangle earrings move as you do, so they catch more light than a stud of the same weight.

Buying guide

Drop styles to compare

  • Graduated line drops: round lab-grown diamonds that grow larger toward the bottom, some hanging from a halo stud.
  • Open teardrop drops: a graduated outline of stones in shared prongs.
  • Bezel drops: stones held in smooth metal rims, including a double bezel and a vintage milgrain bezel with an engraved frame.
  • Flexible line dangles: linked settings that swing freely.

Choosing the length and weight

Shorter drops sit close to the lobe and suit daily wear. Longer lines frame the face and work well for events. Bezel drops have no prongs to catch on hair or clothing, while prong and shared-prong settings show more of each stone and let in more light. Some styles let you pick from 0.5 to 10 carats total weight on the product page. On a few styles you can also pick the lab-grown diamond grade, with color from D to G and clarity from VVS to SI ranges.

Metals and price

Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K. White gold and platinum keep the look icy; yellow and rose gold warm it up. Silver keeps the cost lowest. Prices start under $250, and most pairs fall between about $500 and $900 at their smallest option.
