A halo is a border of small stones set right around the center. It makes the center look larger from across a room and adds sparkle at the edge. Moissanite already throws strong flashes of color, and the lab-grown diamond accents in the halo add brightness around it. Some designs add a second ring of accents for a double halo, which reads bigger again.
Nearly every design runs pavé lab-grown diamond accents down the band. A good share split the shank into two strands as it meets the halo, which opens up the setting and gives it more presence on the finger. Smaller groups add vintage touches such as milgrain, filigree or floral shapes, twisted bands, bezel accents or a polished halo rim. Band widths run from about 1.8 to 2.8 mm on the designs that list one.
Every design offers 1 to 9 carats total weight, picked on the product page. Moissanite rates 9.25 on the Mohs scale, so it stands up well to daily wear. Rose gold gets its color from copper; 10K and 14K are a little pinker and harder, and 18K is richer. Rings start from about $750 at the smallest option, and most are between about $900 and $1,000. The price includes the moissanite.
