Filigree is fine, lacy metalwork made of curls and scrolls. On these bands it sits in the gallery, the side of the band below the stones, so it shows when you look at the ring from the side. It gives a vintage feel without adding height on top. Because the work is open, it is worth cleaning with a soft brush now and then, since lotion and dust can settle in the gaps.
Every design sets round lab-grown diamonds across the top. Shared-prong bands hold each stone with prongs it shares with its neighbor, so little metal shows and more of each lab-grown diamond is visible. Pavé half eternity bands use smaller stones set close together. Milgrain edges, a fine beaded border, frame the row on some designs. Some designs are curved to sit flush against an engagement ring.
