Buying guide
A split shank is a band that opens into two strands near the top. The gap between them widens the top of the ring and gives the center more presence. A radiant cut is rectangular or square with cropped corners and brilliant faceting, so it already sparkles strongly; the split band sets it off with a wider, open base. The shoulders sit a little wider than a single band, which matters when you choose a wedding band to wear beside it.
Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K in white, yellow or rose; platinum is dense and holds its white color. Almost every setting can hold a fancy pink, green, blue or yellow center, and some take a black center. Prices are for the setting alone, from under $250, with most between about $850 and $1,400; the center is priced when you choose it.
Each ring is made for you in 10–15 days. Shipping is free on orders over $500, returns are accepted within 30 days, and one resize is free within 60 days of delivery.
