Two Hearts, One Promise

Lab-Grown Sapphire Eternity Wedding Bands

An eternity lab-grown sapphire band carries lab-grown sapphires all the way around the finger, so the color shows from every angle. These wedding bands set blue or pink lab-grown sapphires in shared prongs, in emerald cut, marquise and oval shapes, and come in white, yellow or rose gold, platinum, or Silvadium, a tarnish-resistant sterling silver. Some styles are made as men's bands.

Buying guide

How a full eternity band is built

In a full eternity band the stones meet end to end around the whole ring. Shared prongs hold each pair of neighboring lab-grown sapphires with one small claw, which keeps the metal light and lets more of each stone show. Emerald cut stones set north-south give a clean, step-cut line of color; marquise stones form a pointed, leaf-like chain; oval stones give a soft, even row that suits a wider, heavier band.

Getting the size right

Because stones run all the way around, a full eternity band can't be cut and resized the way a plain band can. Measure your finger at the end of the day, when it is largest, and size for the knuckle so the band slides on without forcing. A full eternity band also sits best on its own or beside an engagement ring with a straight band.

Lab-grown sapphire, color and price

Lab-grown sapphire rates 9 on the Mohs scale, just below diamond, which makes it a strong choice for a ring worn every day. A lab-grown sapphire has the same chemistry and hardness as a natural sapphire and costs far less than a natural stone of the same size and color. Blue looks deep in white gold or platinum, and pink looks soft in rose or yellow gold. Prices start under $200, and most bands are between about $350 and $825 at their smallest option.

Made to order

Each band is made for you in 10–15 days. Shipping is free on orders over $500, returns are accepted within 30 days, and one resize is free within 60 days of delivery. Full eternity bands, with stones all the way around, can't be resized: the free size change means remaking the band.
