Two Hearts, One Promise

Lab-Grown Emerald Infinity Wedding Bands

A lab-grown emerald infinity band is a wedding band whose lines cross and loop like the infinity sign, set with round lab-grown emeralds. Designs here include half eternity infinity twists, pave twists with shared prongs and a prong set crossover. Every design comes in white, yellow or rose gold, platinum, or Silvadium, a tarnish-resistant sterling silver.

Buying guide

What an infinity band looks like

An infinity band uses two strands that cross over each other, once or several times, along the top of the ring. The crossing points create a figure-eight motion that many couples choose for its meaning of a lasting bond. Set with green stones, the twisting lines show color from every angle.

About lab-grown emerald

A lab-grown emerald is green beryl, the same mineral as a natural emerald, grown under controlled conditions. It has the same rich color and rates 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs hardness scale. It is cleaner than most natural emeralds but more brittle than diamond, so small, well-protected stones like the ones on a band suit daily wear.

Choosing a style and price

  • Half eternity infinity twist: lab-grown emeralds across the top half, with plain metal underneath for comfort and easier sizing.
  • Pave infinity twist: small lab-grown emeralds sharing prongs, for more color along the twist.
  • Prong set crossover: a crossing line of larger lab-grown emeralds.

A lab-grown emerald infinity band pairs well with a gem or lab-grown diamond engagement ring, or worn alone as a colorful wedding band. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K. Prices start under $350, and most bands are between about $1,075 and $1,500.
