A twisted rope edge runs along each side of the band and frames a row of lab-grown diamonds set across the top, as a half eternity band. The plain back keeps the band comfortable and easy to size. A crossover band twists two sections of the band across each other, with pave lab-grown diamonds held in small bead prongs along the crossing line. It has a more modern, angled look.
Total weight is the weight of all the lab-grown diamonds in the band. Options run from 0.25 to 0.75 carat total weight, depending on the design. Pave stones are small, so even a lighter band shows a steady line of sparkle, and the heavier options add slightly larger stones.
Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K. White gold and platinum give a cool, bright look; yellow and rose gold make the twisted texture stand out. Platinum is the heaviest and most durable choice for a band worn every day. Silvadium, a tarnish-resistant sterling silver, is the lower-cost option. Prices start under $350, and most bands cost about $1,080 to $1,400.
