A twisted pave band adds texture that a straight row can't, and it sits well next to most engagement rings. A curved or scalloped twist can nest around a center stone, while a straight infinity twist works as a stacking ring or on its own. Because the lab-grown diamonds run across the top, the plain lower half stays comfortable. A few designs are made as men's wedding bands with a wider, heavier profile.
Most designs offer about 0.15 to 0.5 carat total weight, and a few go up to 1.5 carats. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K on many designs. Platinum keeps fine pave secure over the years, gold in white, yellow or rose suits the look of the ring you pair it with, and silver keeps the cost low. Prices start under $250, and most twisted pave bands fall between about $750 and $1,050 at their smallest option.
