Light That Catches the Eye

Lab-Grown Diamond Graduated Drop Earrings

These graduated drop earrings line up lab-grown diamonds that grow in size from the top down, so the eye travels to the largest stone at the bottom. Choose linear drops, three-stone drops, bar stations, an open teardrop or an inverted U, in round, heart, pear and emerald-cut stones. Every pair comes in gold or Silvadium, a tarnish-resistant sterling silver.

Choose a secure screw back for daily wear, or a classic push back for quick on-and-off.

Carat & Sparkle

From subtle solitaires to bold statement carats — total weight is split across the pair.

Metal & Tone

White, yellow, rose gold or platinum — pick a tone that flatters your skin and wardrobe.

Buying guide

What graduated means

In a graduated drop, the stones change size step by step along one line. Small stones near the ear keep the top light, and larger stones lower down add weight and sparkle where it shows most. The result looks balanced and moves gently as you turn your head.

Choosing a drop style

  • Linear drops: a single line of graduated stones, sometimes ending in a pear or heart.
  • Three-stone drops: three stones that grow in size, linked or on a bar.
  • Bar stations: stones spaced along a slim bar.
  • Open teardrop and inverted U: graduated stones set around an open shape with shared prongs.

Some designs top the drop with a halo stud.

Total weight, metals and price

Several designs offer 1 to 10 carats total weight, and others come in a set weight between 1 and 3.5 carats. White, yellow and rose gold come in 10K, 14K or 18K, and most designs also come in platinum. Prices start under $400, and most pairs cost between about $950 and $1,400.
