Buying guide

Cluster hoop styles

  • Hydrangea cluster hoops: round lab-grown diamonds in claw prongs cover the front of the hoop like a flower head.
  • Pavé huggies: a small hoop that hugs the lobe, topped with a trefoil cluster.
  • Petite hoops with a drop: a light hoop with a sunflower cluster hanging below.

Huggie or hoop

A huggie sits close around the lobe, so it stays comfortable for everyday wear and works well with other earrings. A larger cluster hoop shows more of the stones from the side and front and reads as a dressier piece. A hoop with a drop adds movement. Think about whether you want the sparkle tight to the ear or spread a little lower. Claw prongs hold each stone with small pointed tips, which show more of the stone and let light in from the sides.

Weight, gold and price

Each design comes in a set total weight, from 0.5 to 1.5 carats total weight for the pair. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K, and platinum is a good choice for a dense white hoop. Prices start under $300, and most pairs fall between about $650 and $800.

Made to order

Each piece is made for you in 10–15 days. Shipping is free on orders over $500, and returns are accepted within 30 days.
