Each engraved gold band has a vintage look, but the details differ. Half eternity bands with milgrain set a row of round lab-grown diamonds across the top with beaded edges and engraved scrolls or wheat patterns on the sides. Channel-set and wave bands hold the stones between two walls of gold, with carved or leaf-engraved sides. A chevron design dips to a point, and a three-stone band pairs baguette and pear lab-grown diamonds with milgrain. For a quieter look, an engraved gold wedding ring with X and scroll motifs carries no stones at all.
The carat option on each product page is the total weight of all the lab-grown diamonds in the band. Most designs offer between 0.25 and 0.75 carat total weight, and a few lighter designs start at 0.1 carat. Half eternity bands set stones across the top only, so the engraving on the lower half stays visible and the band is easier to resize.
Most designs come in 10K, 14K or 18K gold. Yellow gold makes engraved lines stand out with warm shadows; white gold gives a bright, cool look that matches platinum-toned engagement rings; rose gold suits vintage styles with its soft pink color. 14K is the usual choice for daily wear.
