Buying guide
Each garnet sits in its own pointed frame, and the frames meet tip to tip along the top of the band. The milgrain edge, a line of tiny beads in the metal, softens the outline and gives the band its antique look. The result reads as a chain of small red links rather than a plain row of stones.
The garnets run across the top half of the band, where they show, and the underside is plain metal. That keeps the band comfortable between the fingers and lets it be resized, which a full eternity band usually can't. On the product page you choose 0.25, 0.35 or 0.5 carats total weight.
Yellow and rose gold warm the deep red of garnet and suit the vintage style. White gold, platinum and silver give a cooler contrast that makes the red look darker. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K. Garnet rates about 6.5 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale, so take the band off for heavy work. Prices start under $300, and most options are around $950.
Each band is made for you in 10–15 days. Shipping is free on orders over $500, returns are accepted within 30 days, and one resize is free within 60 days of delivery.
