Buying guide
A cluster sets small stones close together around or in place of a single center. The result looks like a much bigger lab-grown diamond for less than one stone of the same spread would cost. Clusters also have a softer, more textured sparkle than a solitaire, and yellow gold gives the group a warm outline.
Some designs add a stone-set bail, so the sparkle carries up to where the pendant meets the chain.
Most designs offer 1 to 3 carats total weight, picked on the product page, and many go up to 6 carats. Some also start smaller, at 0.35 to 0.75 carats. Every design comes in 10K or 14K yellow gold; 14K has a slightly richer color, and 10K is a bit harder. Pendants start from about $600, and most are around $800 at their smallest option.
