Buying guide
Pave sets small stones close together along the band, held by tiny beads of metal, so the surface reads as a line of sparkle. Around a yellow center, the white accents give a crisp contrast that brings out the color. Pave can run along the band, up the shoulders, under the center as a hidden halo, or around it as a halo or double halo.
White gold, platinum and silver make the yellow center look more vivid, while yellow gold gives a warm, blended look. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K on every design. Some settings offer a band width choice from about 1.8 to 3 mm; a wider band holds more pave. Settings start under $200, and most cost between about $750 and $1,200. The price is for the setting only; the yellow center is chosen and priced in the next step.
