White Gold Heart Rings

These white gold heart rings are settings made for a heart-shaped center that you choose in the next step. Choose a solitaire, a pave band, a halo, a three-stone ring, a bezel setting or a vintage style with milgrain and filigree. Many designs add lab-grown diamond accents along the band or around the center, and every one comes in 10K, 14K or 18K white gold.

Buying guide

Setting a heart shape

A heart shape has two rounded lobes, a cleft at the top and a point at the bottom. The point is the most delicate part, so most settings guard it with a V-shaped prong, and a bezel wraps the whole outline. Proportions matter: a heart that is too wide or too narrow loses its shape, so look for even lobes and a clear cleft. White gold suits the shape well, because its bright color keeps the outline crisp.

Styles to choose from

  • Solitaire: the heart alone, on a plain, twisted or pave band.
  • Halo and hidden halo: lab-grown diamond accents that trace the heart outline and make it look larger.
  • Three stone and side stone: stones beside the center, for a white gold heart ring with diamonds along the sides.
  • Vintage, floral and filigree: milgrain edges and open metalwork.
  • Bezel and split shank: a protective metal rim or a band that splits near the top.

Center color, gold and price

Most settings can be made for a fancy blue, pink, yellow or green center, and some for a black center. 14K is the everyday balance of strength and price, 18K has a richer color, and 10K is the hardest and most affordable. Heart engagement rings in white gold start from about $425 for the setting, and most are between about $925 and $1,200. The center is priced when you choose it.
