White Gold Halo Engagement Rings

White gold halo engagement rings frame the center stone with a ring of small lab-grown diamond accents. Most designs take a round, oval, cushion, radiant, emerald cut, princess, pear, marquise, heart or Asscher center. Choose a pave band, a vintage halo with milgrain, a split shank or a double halo, then pick your center in the next step.

What a halo does

A halo is a row of small stones set close around the center. It makes the center look larger, adds sparkle from every angle and protects the edges of the center stone. In white gold, the halo and the metal blend into one bright outline, so the center seems to float. A halo diamond ring in white gold suits shoppers who want more presence without moving to a much bigger center.

Halo styles in this collection

  • Pave halo: lab-grown diamond accents on the halo and down the band, the most common design here.
  • Vintage and milgrain: beaded edges, filigree or floral details for an older look.
  • Split shank: the band divides as it reaches the halo, opening up the outline.
  • Double halo: two rows of accents for the most sparkle.
  • Bezel and cluster halos: a few designs use rims of metal or groups of small stones instead of a single row.

Center, gold and price

The center is chosen in the next step. Most designs can be made for a fancy pink, blue, yellow or green center, and some for a black center. Every design comes in 10K, 14K or 18K white gold, and 14K white gold halo engagement rings are the usual balance of color and durability. The price shown is for the setting only, from under $650 and mostly between about $850 and $1,100; the center is priced when you choose it.
