Toi et moi is French for "you and me". The ring holds two main stones side by side, often of different shapes, to stand for two people. A pear works well in this style because its point and rounded end lean naturally toward the second stone, and the two shapes together give the ring a modern, uneven look.
About half the designs add a pave band of small accents; the rest keep the band plain so the two stones stand out.
Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K. Every design offers 1 to 9 carats total weight for the two stones, with D, E or F color and VVS1, VVS2 or VS1 clarity, all picked on the product page. Prices for the finished ring start from about $530, and most rings are about $1,050.
