A lab-grown pink sapphire is corundum, the same mineral as a natural sapphire, grown under controlled conditions instead of mined. It has the same hardness, 9 on the Mohs scale, so it handles daily wear well. Lab-grown pink sapphire ranges from soft rose to bright pink, and it looks warm against rose and yellow gold and brighter against white metals. The pear shape, rounded at one end and pointed at the other, makes the finger look longer, and the tip is held by a prong to protect it.
Every ring is offered from 1 to 9 carats total weight, chosen on the product page. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K, and platinum and silver are on every design too. Prices start under $300 in silver at the smallest size, and most rings are between about $750 and $1,050.
