Buying guide
An infinity band uses two strands of metal that loop or cross on their way to the center. The twist gives the ring movement and draws the eye toward the marquise. Most designs here set lab-grown diamond accents along one or both strands in pavé, and some leave one strand plain for contrast.
Some designs are solitaires, with the twisted band as the only detail beside the center. Others add a halo of lab-grown diamond accents around the marquise, or weave the strands into an interwoven or split shank. A halo makes the center look larger and frames its pointed tips.
A twisted band leaves an uneven edge, so a matching curved or contoured band often sits closer than a straight one. Try them together before ordering if you plan to wear them as a set.
Every setting can be ordered for a colorless center or a fancy blue, pink, yellow or green center, and some for black. Settings start under $400, and most are between about $1,150 and $1,500. That price is for the setting only; the center is priced when you choose it.
