Buying guide
A single halo is one ring of small stones around the center. A double halo adds a second ring outside the first, so the pendant reads noticeably larger and brighter than the center stone alone. The outer halo can follow the center's shape or change it: a round center inside a cushion-shaped outline gives a softer, squared look.
Each double halo necklace has a pave bail, which carries small lab-grown diamonds up into the loop the chain passes through.
Every design comes in yellow, white or rose gold in 10K or 14K, and in Silvadium, a tarnish-resistant sterling silver. White gold and silver brighten a white center; yellow and rose gold add warmth. Most designs offer 1 to 6 carats total weight, counting the center and both halos. Prices start under $400, and most begin at about $800.
