Milgrain is a row of tiny metal beads pressed along the edge of a band, a halo or a bezel. It catches light softly and gives a milgrain gold ring an antique, hand-finished feel. Every design here is a vintage style, and milgrain is the detail they share.

Milgrain beads are small, so they soften slowly with years of wear; a jeweler can refresh them. White gold is usually rhodium plated and may need replating over time.
