This style joins two ideas. The halo around the center is shaped like leaves or petals rather than an even circle, and the band twists or crosses over itself like a vine. Pave lab-grown diamond accents run along the twist, so light follows the band up to the center. One version uses graduated leaves that grow larger toward the center, with a vintage feel; the other crosses two pave strands beneath a halo for a cleaner look.
A twisted shank curves at the shoulders, so a straight wedding band may leave a small gap beside it. Many people like that look; others choose a curved or matching twist band. The listed band width is about 2 mm, with 2.2 mm also offered, which keeps the ring slim on the finger even with the halo.
Each setting is made for round, oval, cushion, princess, emerald, radiant, Asscher, pear, marquise and heart centers. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K, in white, yellow or rose, and platinum and silver are also offered. Settings start under $400, and most are between about $900 and $1,000. The price is for the setting with its accents; the center stone, including fancy blue, pink, yellow or green, is chosen and priced in the next step.
