Emerald Cut Side Stone Rings

These emerald cut rings with side stones pair a long, step-cut center with stones along the shoulders. Choose three stone looks, tapered baguettes, marquise or pear accents, or a pavé band, in white, yellow or rose gold, platinum, or Silvadium, a tarnish-resistant sterling silver. You pick the center in the next step, in white or a fancy color.

Side stone shapes for an emerald cut center

The side stones set the mood of the ring. Baguettes and trapezoids share the emerald cut's straight facets and clean edges, so the ring reads as one calm, geometric line. Marquise, pear and trillion side stones add points and curves for more contrast. Three stone designs place one larger accent on each side, while pavé and channel-set bands carry smaller lab-grown diamond accents down the shank.

Three stone, pavé or halo

  • Three stone: a center flanked by two side stones, the most common look here.
  • Pavé: rows of small lab-grown diamond accents for steady sparkle along the band.
  • Halo and hidden halo: a frame of accents around or under the center on some designs.
  • Bezel and bypass: a few designs wrap the center in metal or let the shank cross past it.

Metal, price and fit

Gold designs come in 10K, 14K or 18K, and platinum is offered on every design, with silver on nearly all. Settings start under $250, and most fall between about $890 and $1,400. The price covers the setting only; the center is priced when you choose it. Band widths run from about 1.8 to 2.5 mm on most designs that list one, so check the product page if you plan to wear a wedding band alongside.

Made to order

Emerald Cut Side Stone Rings FAQs

What side stones look best with an emerald cut?

Baguettes and trapezoids are the classic match, because their straight step-cut facets echo the emerald cut's long lines. Marquise, pear and trillion side stones work well when you want more contrast and sparkle. In this collection you can choose any of those shapes, or a three stone design or pavé band set with lab-grown diamond accents, depending on how bold you want the shoulders to look.
