Buying guide
The halo is a ring of small lab-grown diamond accents around the cushion center, which makes the center look larger and brighter. The twist sits on the band, where two strands wrap around each other on the way up to the head. Most of these settings set pave along one or both strands, so the sparkle runs from the halo down the band. A rope band keeps the twist in polished metal for a quieter look.
Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K. White gold and platinum suit a colorless center, while yellow and rose gold warm up the halo. You can also choose a fancy color center, such as blue, pink, yellow or green. Prices are for the setting alone and start under $200; most are between about $600 and $1,200. The center is priced when you choose it.
Each ring is made for you in 10–15 days. Shipping is free on orders over $500, returns are accepted within 30 days, and one resize is free within 60 days of delivery.
