Pavé comes from the French word for paved. Small stones are set close together, held by tiny beads of metal, so the surface looks covered in sparkle. On these settings the pavé is made of lab-grown diamond accents. It can run along the top of the band, part way down, or around a halo, and it gives a blue center a bright frame without adding height.
