How a halo frames a blue center

A halo is a ring of small stones set around the center. The white sparkle of the lab-grown diamond accents outlines the blue and makes the center look larger. Most designs carry pave down the band as well, so the sparkle continues from the halo onto the shoulders.

Halo styles in the range

  • Single halos, from beaded and contoured to cluster halos.
  • Double halos, with two rows of accents for a bigger outline.
  • Split shank and bypass bands.
  • Vintage, milgrain, floral and filigree details.
  • Bezel station and bezel cluster halos, and a few three stone halo rings.

Choosing a metal for a blue diamond halo engagement ring

White gold and platinum keep the halo bright and the blue cool. Yellow and rose gold add warmth around the center. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K. Settings start under $200, and most are between about $750 and $1,100. That price is for the setting only; the center is priced when you choose it.
