FAQs
Yes. Our diamonds are real lab-grown diamonds, sharing the same physical, chemical, and optical characteristics as mined diamonds. They’re not diamond simulants and not to be confused with moissanite or cubic zirconia.
No. We do not use moissanite or any other diamond simulants. Our stones are genuine lab-grown diamonds, certified by recognized gemological labs.
Yes! All our larger diamonds, especially those in solitaire settings, come with IGI certification for complete assurance of quality and authenticity. Smaller diamonds are certified by AGL. Each certificate details the diamond’s color, clarity, cut, and other essential characteristics, verifying that you’re getting a genuine, high-quality lab-grown diamond.
We use only premium-quality lab-grown diamonds that fall into the E, F, or G (near-colorless) color range, with VVS or VS clarity (minimal inclusions). All our diamonds are crafted with an Excellent cut to maximize brilliance and sparkle.

For pieces you plan to wear daily—such as tennis bracelets—we recommend gold-plated or 10k gold for optimal durability and affordability. Sterling silver is a solid metal composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other alloys for durability. At Renaissance Jewel, we apply rhodium plating on top of the silver, similar to the plating done on gold, to enhance its polish and color.
Yes, we use rhodium plating on our sterling silver jewelry, which provides a finish and shine comparable to gold jewelry.
For jewelry worn daily and in contact with soap and moisturizers, the rhodium plating typically lasts 6 months to a year. With careful handling—avoiding contact with soap, water, and moisturizers—the plating can last for several years. We recommend removing jewelry during activities like showering, swimming, and chores involving soap or water.
When the rhodium plating begins to wear off, the jewelry may appear less shiny. Reapplying the plating is a straightforward process and typically costs around $50 for plating and polishing.
